Uncertified Angle bars - A composite team from the Department of Trade, Bureau of Products Standards and The Philippine Products Safety and Quality Foundation inspects angle bars and hardware items after a day long seminar on Philippine National Standards in Baguio. Items found not having legitimate ICC and PS marks were sealed by the team and the owners were invited to DTI to show their supporting papers. Included in the regulated products being monitored by these agencies are ceramic tiles, cement, helmets, monoblock chairs, plywood and electrical items among others. Art Tibaldo
